First , I can't remember if I told you or not , but I LOVE high key work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So you've won me right away with that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have a combination of softness and sharpness to this photo that is just stunning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE the pose and reflection .... the gentle ripple in the watter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The skin tone is nice and warm !!!!!!!!!!!!! Now , when asked to critique , I do so and try to see the way my photo instructor would see ........... I can tell you he would find a little problem with the space below her left arm and breast . The details are a tad lost and confusing . I found myself a bit preoccupied with how she was positioning herself .... is that her leg , a sock I'm seeing ....... not what you want me doing . It's one of the downsides of viewing photos on the computer because I think if I saw the print itself , there may be more details than I'm seeing and wouldn't be so preoccupied with it . It really is a minor thing , but if you were to enter it into a contest , especially one say in NY , it might become an issue !!!!!!!!!!!! It's the kind of thing my instructor will find and frustrate me no end because I often haven't yet figured out how to correct it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With film , yeah , I know how to do things in the darkroom , but digital , still have a long way to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it's an amazing photo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I get upset sometimes when I see things and learned what I have from my instructor , because I know just how much work and effort you've put into this , as I have with some of mine , just to have a small detail pointed out that we may not have seen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
